Job Description:

The Opportunity:

Serve as the Logistics Specialist in the SCOPES Contract Program Management Office where you will provide expertise in the execution of contract Program logistics operations, activities, and deliverables for Team CACI’s support to US Southern Command. Supports the Operations Coordinator and Program Manager, as required.

Responsibilities:

Serves as the logistics expert and advises the Operations Coordinator on contractual logistics operations and activities.

Develops and supervises the property accountability program to include management of Government-Furnished Property (GFP)/Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).

Ensures 100% accountability of government property.

Coordinates and tracks equipment, property, and supply shipments.

Ensures projects meet all logistical requirements such as GP and ITAR compliance.

Manages Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requests, the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) Letters of Authorization (LOAs), and training certifications/permits.

Utilizing a vendor or sub-contractor, coordinates for the overseas shipment of personal property for SCOPES Program employees assigned in the AOR.

Qualifications:

Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.

At least 10 years’ experience managing or operating property accountability, maintenance, shipment, and/or transportation systems.

Understanding of FAR and DFAR property and accountability requirements

The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

A current Tourist Passport with an expiration date more than 6 months away

Desired Qualifications: 

Spanish language capability

A Logistics certification

A fundamental understanding of Program Management Office operations and management.

$67,100-$141,000
