This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following office locations: St. Petersburg, FL;


Job Summary:

This position will lead our Enterprise Data and Analytics team of Data Engineers/business analysts and strengthen the platform, will help decommission firmwide legacy systems and build proprietary replacement software. The Associate Director will have extensive contact with all management levels and other internal customers and will be required to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex information technology issues. An in-depth knowledge of development tools and language, people management skills and ability to work closely with business partners are key skills needed to be successful in this role.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Hands on Experience with Oracle Exadata as database is required.
Experience with ETL technologies such as ODI , Informatica or similar tools is required.
Experience with a breadth of Data Platforms, Data Integration tools, Databases, Big Data Platforms, Cloud based data platforms and Data Streaming technologies.
Strong understanding of modern Data Architectures and most importantly deep understanding of the overall Data in an enterprise and ability to understand Data in the context of Business goals.
Experience with developing and architecting very large mission critical data platforms which are highly resilient, scalable and flexible.
Experience with Data Streaming using integration patterns like Kafka, Spark Streaming.
Experience with Search data platforms is a plus.
Experience with AWS Data Platforms is a plus
Experience or understanding of programming languages like Python, Java, R , Shell , Perl etc. is a plus .
Financial Services experience is required.
Experience in the enterprise implementation, leadership experience, strategic planning, strong business acumen.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

TYPICALLY requires a Bachelor's degree has some supervisory experience or 6-8 years of individual relevant experience.
Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles is a plus.
Financial Services experience highly preferred.
