Your Impact

The Derivs Automation team is responsible for building algo, smart order router, order management system, and internalization for US Listed Options trading. The team is responsible for gathering requirement from internal/external clients, designing and developing trading strategies and trading platform, and monitoring trading performance for strategies. The team     

interfaces with clients, sales, trading, compliance, legal and other starts & engineering teams in the firm on a regular basis. The team plays a critical role in driving our Electronic Options Trading business.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain a high-performance, yet nimble and adaptive trading platform for internal and external clients.
  • Understand US Options market structure, regulations, exchange service offerings and implement changes to these on an on-going basis.
  • Communication with traders, sales, clients and compliance officers about new feature requests, explanation of existing features etc. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in either Java or C++
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design pattern
  • Experience with Linux operating system
  • Experience with developing order management system and exchange connectivity for US markets
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Event Sourcing (Sequenced core stream) based architecture
  • Knowledge about JVM internals and tuning for low-latency
  • Experience with building C++/Java systems with strict requirements for low-latency (microseconds count) and deterministic performance

Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
