What you’ll be doing...

Perform requirements analysis and business overview sessions for the development and enhancement of new and existing projects. Responsible for software development in Java/J2EE related technologies, Web Services and frameworks including Spring, Hibernate and React. Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in the application and attend daily scrum meetings. Design and develop J2EE application modules using Java 8 or later, Spring Boot, Java Collections, Data Structures, Multithreading, JDBC, JNDI, Hibernate ORM, Servlets, JMS Custom Tag Libraries, JSTL, XML, JSON, SOAP and REST based Web Services. Develop User Interface using web-development technologies including React JS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Node.js, Bootstrap and jQuery. Design and develop solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) and create and maintain Elastic indexes in production scale implementation. Develop PL/SQL stored procedures and perform database updates to purge unwanted huge volume of data and perform validation using complex SQL queries in Oracle Database. Identify and eliminate performance issues during the development lifecycle by improving applications design to optimize the database hits and improve the application performance. Perform unit testing using JUnit and Mockito aiding test driven development in some scenarios. Automate CI/CD process using Jenkins pipeline to help automatically run and deploy the latest code across multiple environments including SIT/QA/UAT. Responsible for code reviews, debugging, testing and monitoring build process and resolve the build issues by triaging the configuration and environment issues. Provide technical quality assurance review before, during and after development to maintain the code quality. Work on new technology insertion including Apache Kafka, Kubernetes and Cloud Computing. Responsible for development technologies using EJB, JMS, JPA, SOA Suite; Spring Boot, Struts, JSF, ADF, Coherence, Jrules, Drools and Angular; Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, PL/SQL; ELK Stack; OCI, AWS, New Relic, DynaTrace, Java Flight Recorder and Java Mission Control; and HP Fortify, Black Duck and SonarQube. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.



What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Computer Systems Engineer/Architect, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years performing software development in Java/J2EE related technologies, Web Services and frameworks including Spring, Hibernate and React; using EJB, JMS, JPA, SOA Suite; Spring Boot, Struts, JSF, ADF, Coherence, Jrules, Drools and Angular; Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, and PL/SQL. Experience therein to include 3 years using OCI, AWS, New Relic, DynaTrace, Java Flight Recorder and Java Mission Control; 3 years using HP Fortify, Black Duck and SonarQube. Experience therein to include 2 years using ELK Stack. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
