Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

As a Qualcomm Problem and Change Management Engineer, you will play a vital role in enabling a seamless handling of problem reports and change requests. 
Along with your team, you will enable the timely and compliant fulfillment of customer requirements. Your tasks include:

  • Defining and refining project strategy documentation (such as change management plan, problem management plan).

  • Contributing towards the definition of project specific processes while ensuring compliance to the overarching process frameworks.

  • Definition and Implementation of KPIs for issue handling.

  • Developing python scripts to automate process steps in JIRA. 

  • Supporting the setup of exchange specifications between different issue management systems.

  • Setting up and maintaining JIRA dashboards in the scope of Problem and Change management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with SW CM tools such as Jira, Python, codebeamer and git.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in System / Software Development.

  • Experience in developing processes.

What you will bring:

  • Understanding of problem and change management processes.

  • Experience with the configurations of issue tracking systems like JIRA or codebeamer.

  • Basic understanding of the ASPICE and the ISO26262 standards.

  • Very good networking skills, self-organization and a proactive attitude.

  • Meeting moderation skills, ability to deal with multiple interfaces and adapt method of communication to get your point across.

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with little direction.

  • Good presentation and English language skills.

Level of Responsibility:

  • Change and Problem Management across projects.

  • Decision-making skills are necessary since your work products will have a direct impact into the way of work of multiple development teams.
