General Summary:

The advanced technology PDTE team is responsible for developing Qualcomm leading-edge Snapdragon IPs/Testchips/Products in the most advanced silicon technology. In this role you will be member of a team working on IC design review, IC hardware testing, foundry engagement as well as advanced silicon data analysis. You will be responsible for validation and bring-up of Qualcomm test-chips or products in advanced process technology nodes. You will develop test plans with design engineers and test program on ATE to qualify new IPs. You will work closely with foundry partners, design engineers, failure analysis engineers, process engineers during silicon bring-up to drive debug activities, IP validation and yield bring up. You will be responsible for first silicon design verification, process experiment (DOE) definition, device characterization, test correlation analysis, product documentation, failure analysis root-cause, and yield enhancement. You will need to communicate technical status to management. The individual selected for the position, needs to be proactive, able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment, enthusiastic to work as well as be passionate about delivering quality work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of Semiconductor VLSI testing relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal and VLSI.
  • Experience working in both Windows and Unix/Linux operating system.
  • Knowledge of computer programming fundamentals (C/C++/Java/Perl/Phyton)
  • Knowledge of device physics and semiconductor manufacturing process is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SOC logic and memory design/testing.
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts, analysis and techniques.
  • Knowledge and hands on with semiconductor testing and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
  • Hands on with lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Curve Tracer, Spectrum analyzers etc.
  • Knowledge in test automation development/scripting/debugging
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Independent, initiative and ability to overcome technical challenges.
  • Good organization and documentation skills.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$104,000.00 - $156,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
