General Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for Program Management for our System Validation & Emulation (SVE) Engineering team including the following responsibilities:

• Supports the establishment of program goals and prioritizes deliverables under minimal supervision of Program Management stakeholders.
• Manages and takes responsibility for multiple small programs/technology with minimal complexity or a single program/technology with moderate complexity by applying up-to-date program management knowledge to meet deadlines. Projects include Pre-Silicon and post-Silicon activities for Qualcomm SOCs from Bring-up to Commercial Sample
• Builds and manages the execution of the Plan of Record (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope) for the programs/projects, which includes schedule, stakeholder identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, infrastructure setup, test plan coordination and prioritization.
• Tracks all key metrics pertaining to a program, provides early warning for potential metric deviations and escalates in timely manner when metrics deviate significantly from Plan of Record.
• Coordinates the validation work of multiple cross functional teams on assigned tasks with guidance and maintains progress in tracking system.
• Identifies program issues/risks and creates a risk mitigation plan for multiple small programs or a single medium-sized program. Maintains and updates the risk tracker.
• Supports team vision and objectives by motivating team.
• Supports the compliance of processes by following best practices and procedures and providing observations for process improvement.
• Develop engineering-based performance indicators/metrics geared towards risk identification, assessment, quantification. Monitor and ensure adherence to Test plan tracker, Sign-off checklists, etc.
• Partner with Chipset team for forecast and allocation of HW platforms and parts to end users across worldwide sites considering project priorities and monitoring of platform usage. Plan the allocation and deployment under the constraints applicable
• Partner with Engineering and Program Management leads to drive continuous improvement by coordinating Project Lessons Learnt sessions, participating in initiatives etc..
• Plan, coordinate and track all aspects related to SOC platform Si Bring-up activities, lab and HW logistics and reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
• PMP Certification.
• 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 2+ years of experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.
• Exposure to bug tracking systems like Clearquest, JIRA and dashboards like Tableau, Splunk and Thoughtspot are highly desired.
• Experience with PowerBI/Power automate tools a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Pay range:

$126,400.00 - $189,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
