As a Senior Manager - Project & Program Management, you'll be taking care of the Strategy and Operation practice to drive global IT Delivery and Portfolio Business Operations for VZI CSGThe roles and responsibilities include -
Designing and setting up process to govern and track Portfolio Budget/ Finance- Reporting and tracking on portfolio KPIs with stakeholders(internal and external)
- Oversee the portfolio management( finance, FTE hiring, talent development ) and hold accountability with stakeholders on performance service levels
- Work towards process streamlining , bringing in new ideas to the table and creating a positive environment across each of the pillars.
- Manage a team of PMO professionals who work across all areas of operations.
- You will partner closely with HRBP, Sourcing, TAPFIN ,TAG and other business organizations to track, monitor and maintain the CSG Operations smoothly .
- Weekly reporting on health and performance parameters of the portfolio
- Strong focus on executing(planning and tracking), workforce strategy to achieve portfolio objectives
- Executive summary with portfolio Data analysis and insights for continuous improvement of team and delivery operations.
- Managing risks and dependencies to the project’s successful outcome
- Understanding how different projects interlink and overlap.
- Ensuring relevant standards, processes and regulations are upheld.
- Ensuring the PMO operations run smoothly and in a streamlined manner.
- Identify the industry best practices to help in positive transformation and growth of the portfolio

Defining/Refining Finance Model and Governance for key portfolio in Verizon consumer group including Budget/Resource Management and cost optimization.- Facilitating/ Guiding the internal team on Headcount & Budget Finalization - Handling the complete Labor & Non Labor HC
- Creating Periodic reports rolled out on Variance analysis, Open positions and Change controls
- Facilitating Change control, Budget reduction & Expense reduction exercises
- Program managing contingent labor ramp up closely; ensuring alignment with budget and skills/technology
- Sourcing and proactively work on contract extensions and required approvals
- Collaborating with the budgeting team to analyze the budget availability and ensure all extensions are within the approved budget
- Developing and executing an integrated communication and engagement plan including messaging, activities, management and metrics
- Reporting on key metrics related to People, Process & Technology
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or six or more years of experience.- Six or more years of relevant work experience
- Master’s degree in Business Administration
- Experience in implementing projects in a delivery approach
- Experience in program delivery on complex enterprise projects. Preferable exposure to multi-geographic set up
- Strong change champion and culture catalyst -organizing employee engagement meetings and events and listening to Voice Of Employee
- Expert in portfolio budget and finance management and tracking
- Experience in working in a matrix set up with cross-functional teams and leaders to manage program lifecycle.
- Experience in driving large scale transformation, capability to navigate through complexities of change.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and methods.
- Knowledge of productivity and program management tools/software-eg. Jira, Confluence / Clarity, G Suite, slack , etc.

Program management/ ITIL certifications- Program & Portfolio Management
- Change Management with strong communication skills
- Stakeholder Management
- Strong analytical skills , proactive risk management
- Leadership traits, involves- Adaptable, Strategic, Execution and Result focus, Purpose driven, self-initiatives to identify and solve for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Experience as an Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master.
- Certification- PMI/Prince2 Certification, PMBOK,Agile / Scrum Certification.
