Job Description:

The Opportunity:

The Readiness Training Analyst will serve as a member of the CACI contract team supporting U.S. Air Force (USAF) Headquarters, Air Education and Training Command's Future Operations Division (HQ AETC/A3X) in the Directorate for Operations and Communications (HQ AETC/A3/6) at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph in San Antonio, Texas. Provide subject matter expertise for program management support to develop, update, and add to USAF Ready Airman Training.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to develop and update training requirements for Ready Airman Training.

  • Provide technical support to any updates and revisions to AFI 10-405, Ready Airman Training.

  • Provide technical support to the Ready Airman Council (RATC), to include management of RATC workflow, various Lines of Effort, and organizing and conducting recurring RATC in-person meetings with a virtual Teams option.

  • Develop action plans and milestones, provide accurate training and program analyses and program planning to ensure actions comply with appropriate directives and meet milestone requirements.

  • Develop and present briefings and correspondence to AETC leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Provide technical support to organize and track AETC/A3X-assigned readiness training programs encompassing cradle to grave management for all tasks assigned in accordance with the instructional system design process.

  • Evaluate emerging USAF readiness training.

  • Provide assistance and recommendations for training requirement(s) definition, program development, program management and execution.

  • Produce reports, updates, recommendations, briefings, and training materials for organizing and tracking USAF readiness training.

  • Maintain/update online checklists for readiness training and deployment requirements.

  • Coordinate with the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) to ensure the most current checklist is posted.

  • Coordinate with Air Force and Joint Service subject matt er experts on subjects/activities associated with readiness training.

  • Provide research and recommend appropriate and acceptable training venues, develop strategic solutions, and determine methods for effective and efficient delivery of readiness training objectives.

  • Provide monthly metrics on readiness training analysis.

  • Develop and present briefings and other correspondence to AETC leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must have at least 5 years of Air Force MAJCOM and/or HQ Air Force staff officer experience.

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in military training to include requirements analysis, planning, and resource programming.

  • Must have working knowledge of USAF Readiness Training.

  • Current Secret (NATO) U.S. Government security clearance or ability to acquire the clearance.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of Air Force Force Generation and the Expeditionary Air Base, Air Task Force, and Deployable Combat Wing /Institutional Wing constructs.

  • Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and Mission Type Orders.

  • Ability to serve on teams with demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and strong attention to detail skills.

  • Served as an in-residence and/or online instructor.
