Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared SATCOM Network Controller to join a premier federal contracting company based out of Hill Air Force Base. The Secret Cleared SATCOM Network Controller is responsible for supporting network and telecommunications devices for a DoD customer.

Responsibilities of the Secret Cleared SATCOM Network Controller include:

•       Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loops, alarms, and error indicators, along with various troubleshooting methods

•       Employ network monitoring tools to oversee, track, and resolve problems, escalating them as needed

•       Manage and update tickets using the Remedy system

•       Troubleshoot network technologies in a live, global environment

•       Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, cryptographic devices, and routers to optimize performance and ensure the desired security posture is attained and maintained.

•       Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, phone systems, including phone units, voicemail, switches, infrastructure, call manager systems, Video Teleconference (VTC) systems video recording/viewing/distribution systems, and related telecommunications trunk circuits.

•       Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices including MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical.

Qualifications for the Secret Cleared SATCOM Network Controller 

•       Active Secret Clearance

•       CompTIA Sec+ or equivalent

•       Experience supporting SATCOM and DoD networks

•       Experience with LAN/WAN

•       Able to work in a shift work environment

Compensation for the Secret Clear SATCOM Network Controller:

•       Pay Rate: $33.50 - $40.50/hr *depending on experience and education*
