Description:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with and advocate before the White House and the Administration. Primary responsibility for representing Verizon before key staff within the Administration and relevant agencies coordinating outreach to advance Verizon’s priority issues.
Execute strategies for advancing complex policy frameworks that address broadband, spectrum, privacy, taxation, and other critical business issues that create a platform for long-term growth for Verizon, our employees, and, our shareholders.
Serve as part of the team developing and executing strategy for Republican political outreach including key 3rd party advocacy organizations as well as policy development.
Represent Verizon in national political forums, business coalitions, community partnerships, and other internal forums.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (required); advanced degree (preferred).
10+ years of relevant experience.
Established network of professional relationships with specific line of sight into Congressional politics in the Administration, U.S. House, and U.S. Senate.
Lobbying experience in the telecom and technology industry or relevant trade association including policy development (preferred).

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $176,000.00 and $326,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
