Job Description:

The Opportunity:

Cyber Innovation Team (CIT) is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill a Front-End Software Developer role in Fairfax, VA, to support the re-architecture of a large mission critical access control system. The successful candidate should have the ability to leverage cloud infrastructure and services to modernize the front-end experience and have a firm understanding of client-side and server-side web frameworks. The successful candidate will work with the current development team to maintain the current capabilities, and collaborate with mission partners on new design features and develop the new interface for the system. The CIT program is specifically seeking candidates with a background in front-end development using Angular. Full-stack development background is a plus and highly desired.

Responsibilities:

Regular software deliveries to meet agreed-to agile schedules and mission priorities.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance is required
  • 8+ years of related experience with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, (10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 14+ years in lieu of college degree)
  • Experience building web-based applications using UI frameworks such as Angular, React, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cloud environment
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Nexus, etc.)
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Experience in unit/integration testing.

Desired:

  • Ability to swiftly adapt to evolving technologies to support the dynamic landscape of Full Stack Development
  • Experience with Python and/or Java
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment
  • Excellent communication skills.
