Qualcomm, a global leader in innovation and intellectual property, is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the IT team supporting one of the world's most advanced Intellectual Property Departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with experience in intellectual property and exhibit ambition and a quick aptitude for learning. This position offers the opportunity to work autonomously while closely collaborating with engineers, attorneys, IT, and operations personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and translate the needs of IP stakeholders (attorneys, engineers, operations personnel) into comprehensive and unambiguous software requirements.
  • Ensure that software solutions meet business goals and user needs while adhering to stringent timelines and maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate openly, respectfully, and inclusively with team members and other teams to understand project impacts and complete work.
  • Create trusting relationships with colleagues within the domain to gain insight, ideas, and connections. Represent the department or functional area as a primary contact for projects.
  • Actively manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for multiple projects concurrently.
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify issues, gather information from various sources, and recommend solutions.
  • Understand relevant business and IT strategies, contribute to cross-functional discussions, and maintain relationships with IT and customer peers.
  • Perform troubleshooting on complex issues related to bugs in production systems or applications, collaborating with subject matter experts.
  • Shift focus in response to moderate changes in priorities, gather information, and ask questions to overcome setbacks and ensure task completion.
  • Make objective and ethical decisions within own area of work, provide feedback on decisions made outside own area, and plan activities to meet objectives.
  • Communicate delays in a timely manner and offer effective solutions. Draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Patent systems
