Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking talented system engineering professionals with military and, or industrial experience with backgrounds in National Security Space, United States Air Force, and United States Space Force to join our SETA team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. For this effort we are providing programmatic and technical advisory services to the United States Space Force's Space Systems Command's National Space Test & Training Complex's Operational Test & Training Infrastructure (NSTTC - OTTI).

Operational Test & Training Infrastructure (OTTI):

The OTTI PEO is responsible for integrating and synchronizing the acquisition, development, and sustainment of integrated test and training capabilities to ensure the delivery of fully burdened force designs to the United States Space Force. Our area of responsibility encompasses the collection of distributed, enterprise-wide test and training system sand processes that establish and sustain combat readiness across the spectrum of conflict.

Locations:

  • Downtown Colorado Springs, CO
  • Peterson Space Force Base

Positions Available in the Following Skillsets:

  • Requirements Engineer: Supporting IPO plan development, requirements management strategies, and managing capabilities requirements
  • Special Projects Systems Engineer: Requirements, live range testing, hardware in the loop (HWIL) testing, components/sub systems testing, Delta 12 familiarity, Orbital Warfare T&E familiarity)
  • Space Systems Analyst: Direct operations and systems analysis support to Delta 9 systems for capabilities enhancements

General Requirements for the Following Positions:

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI upgrade, for Special Programs
  • Bachelor's Degree in related information technology field or project management (experience will be accepted in lieu of education)
  • Minimum qualifications will vary based on the position and associated level (10+ years of experience)
  • Prior experience supporting aerospace, electronic warfare, satellite engineering, space control, space operations, weapon systems-based engineering efforts
  • Prior experience supporting military and or government environments

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000 (compensation varies on position and relevant years of experience and varying factors)
