Job Title:  SIOP Lead

Location:  Cleveland, OH

Business Unit:  Team Wendy

Purpose of Position:

We are seeking a dynamic SIOP Leader to manage and enhance our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning processes. This role is crucial for aligning demand and supply strategies, optimizing inventory levels, and improving overall operational efficiency. The SIOP Leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and ensure that business objectives are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

1. Strategic Planning:

  • Lead the development and execution of the SIOP process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and finance teams to gather data and insights that inform demand forecasting and supply planning.

2. Demand Forecasting:

  • Create and maintain robust demand forecasting models using historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Analyze and interpret forecasting results, adjusting strategies as needed to align with changing market conditions.

3. Inventory Management:

  • Optimize inventory levels across all product lines to ensure product availability while minimizing costs and excess stock.
  • Develop inventory strategies that balance service levels with the financial goals of the organization.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Facilitate cross-functional SIOP meetings, ensuring that all departmental inputs are considered in the planning process.
  • Serve as a liaison between supply chain, production, and sales teams to enhance communication and streamline processes.

5. Performance Metrics:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, inventory turnover, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership outlining performance against goals and identifying areas for improvement.

6. Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of the SIOP process and identify opportunities for enhancements to tools, systems, and methodologies.
  • Implement best practices in sales and operations planning to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization.

Essential Duties and/or Functions:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent (College Experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skill and ability to work on-site in CLE on a consistent basis

Preferred/Desired Skills and/or Experiences:

  • Aptitude and desire to learn data analytics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and IFS
  • Intrinsically motivated with ability to dig into details
  • Strong attention to detail

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $75,000 - $96,000 annually.  The final salary offered to a 5successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
