We are Perception within Qualcomm Automotive
Qualcomm is an American multinational company known for making chips, software, and wireless tech.
Our Perception team is part of the Automotive branch, working on the Snapdragon Digital Chassis. This is a cloud-connected platform for things like car connectivity, digital dashboards, and self-driving tech.
At our Linköping tech center (formerly Arriver Software AB), we create top-notch computer vision software for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). This includes features like detecting vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, lane boundaries, free space, hazards, traffic signs, and lights.
Qualcomm Automotive is leading the way in smart, connected cars, partnering with major carmakers and suppliers around the world.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with C, C++ and Python.

Are you ready to join our team as a Perception Software Engineer? We’re actively seeking new colleagues to join our cross-functional teams!
Our Teams:
• You’ll be part of the Traffic Situation department, collaborating with skilled engineers across various technical domains.
• Our mission? To deliver a state-of-the-art framework for creating the world’s best High Beam Assist system.
Your Profile:
• Software Development: You have a robust software development background, either from academia or industry.
• Machine Learning: You have practical experience in machine learning development, either from academia or industry.
• Language and Tools: Proficiency in languages and tools for machine learning and software development, particularly TensorFlow, Python , C and C++.
Education and Experience:
A Master’s degree in Engineering (D, U, E, F, Y, or related field).
OR
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and +1 years of experience in software development within the industry.
You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish.
You will be situated in Linköping, Sweden.
