CACI, Azure Summit Technology, LLC is currently seeking a Software Integration and Test Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, FL, office with occasional overnight travel to our Fairfax, VA, headquarters; offices in Baltimore, Maryland; and various customer sites as required. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for executing research and development of complex SIGINT, EW, communications, and other RF mission systems. Duties involve all aspects of software engineering, including requirements analysis and specification, software design, implementation and integration, testing, and installation. Candidate will also test hardware components at the CCA level; troubleshoot problems to isolate defects at board level and integrated CCA system level; implement and deploy solutions; support of the system configuration to include test equipment and hardware components; develop test plans, cases, and procedures; and other duties as assigned.  The candidate will also coordinate with the SW design group in the maintenance/improvement of current product lines and planning of future product lines.

Basic Requirements:

  • US citizenship – due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in software testing experience with the ability to improve the impact of integration within an organization

 Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance – due to contract requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers
  • Experience with signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems
  • Knowledge of software development and RF systems to understand complex topics of discussion
  • A detail-oriented approach with respect to documentation and communication
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences and stakeholders
  • Strong testing skills that inspire team confidence and promote ownership
  • Ability to write test plans and bug reports that are clear and actionable
  • Expert technical troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Process oriented, knowledge of software development and integration methodologies, and the ability to apply them pragmatically
  • Understanding of Agile software development processes, best practices, and the bug life cycle
  • Experience with test automation
  • Software engineering experience with digital signal processing, algorithm development, modeling and simulation using C/C++, Python, MATLAB or JAVA
  • Proficient at using technical documentation as inputs to the testing process, informing the techniques, protocols, and test scenarios to be written
  • Basic understanding of system networking

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,700 - $122,200
