Job Description:

What You’ll Get to Do:  

Are you ready to put your knowledge, skills, and experience to work leading a truly agile team developing software products that use current development practices, are cloud native, and are built within a continuous deployment software development framework? As a motivated manager on this exciting program, you will support our mission customers by owning the product vision and communicating it to the team and stakeholders, owning the backlog of work items, and acting as the primary product advocate. As a member of the leadership team, we will look to you to provide lead multiple agile teams, establish team direction through strategic decision making, communicate with other leaders, and provide thoughtful guidance to drive progress. Each day, you can expect to work closely with the program manager, your technical lead, and the other product manager to test/validate development work, massage and clean the Jira tickets in the backlog, develop near- and long-term roadmaps in support of program goals, and communicate daily with the government team to help guide the product vision into reality.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:  

  • Clearance: Must have TS/SCI with poly (or be willing to take poly)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or related experience
  • Experience: 10 or more years of experience, including some leadership experience mentoring or managing software developers
  • Available to work full time in-person at CACI facilities in Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at different priorities
  • Experience leading teams using agile methodologies and DevOps processes
  • Experience with issue tracking and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Demonstrated experience working with others in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

  • Familiarity with programs doing web development and automated testing,
  • Change management
  • Foundational understanding of User Interface/User Experience fundamentals
  • Familiarity with various aspects of Project Management
