Job Description

Zachary Piper is seeking a SECRET CLEARED SQL DBA to support a multi-year Army program. This individual will be assisting with a data center supporting IT, Software Development, & Integration teams with enterprise delivery. This position is HYBRID (2 days on-site) located in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities of SQL DBA:

•      Design, Install, configure, audit, & maintain highly available enterprise database system

•      Develop, follow, and maintain team documentation for repeatable processes, including database feature installation, disaster recovery, & common problem resolution

•      Monitory backups on all SQL Server databases & DISA STIGs

•      Adhere to ITIL practices for Change Management

•      Perform routine disaster recovery testing Scenarios

Qualifications of SQL DBA:

•      4+ years of experience with 2019 Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration, Installation & Configuration, & SQL Server Cumulative Updates

•      Experience with SQL Server Availability features

•      Experience with Database Performance Tuning Skills

•      Active DoD Secret Clearance

Compensation of SQL DBA:

•      Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
