Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Analyst in Springfield, VA to assist with maintaining the NRO command center. This position does require full time on site M-F 9-5. TS/SCI w/ CI poly clearance required.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Cyber Security Analyst Include:

•        Monitoring and reporting operations to senior military officials

•        Incident handling, triage of events, trend analysis, metric development, vulnerability information dissemination

•        Overseeing network analysis and threat detection

•        Working independently in an environment that requires 24/7 supervision

•        Provide knowledge of DoD Computer Network Defense and brief findings to senior leaders

 

Qualifications for the Sr. Cyber Security Analyst Include:

•        Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Cyber Security

•        DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II

•        If no degree, 4+ years of working experience is acceptable

•        Experience using WireShark for packet capture analysis

•        SIEM tool experience (Splunk or ArcSight is a plus)

•        Active TS/SCI w/ CI poly clearance

 

Compensation for the Sr Cyber Security Analyst includes:

•        Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000/year depending on experience
