Position Specific Description

The leader in this role is responsible for the strategy, design and administration of learning and development programs for the Company. The individual will lead a team responsible for consulting and administration of training and development programs in the following areas: performance, employee engagement, career development, competency models, talent development, leadership, executive development, team effectiveness.

  • Designs and administers learning development programs
  • Provides direction and oversight to team of learning and development consultants
  • Assesses organizational and individual development needs within agreed timeframes and budget which consistently meet or exceed customer¿¿¿s needs
  • Provides internal consulting to management in assessing training needs and the best vehicles to deliver those needs
  • Designs, develops or acquires training programs to be implemented throughout the Company according to needs and requirements
  • Supports immediate and long range Company goals by investigating and evaluating existing training programs and designing and administrating new programs
  • Investigates available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner in which to conduct programs
  • Administers programs either by personally conducting training sessions or assigning specific training activities to other personnel
  • Maintains records on the progress and performance of those involved in the training programs
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Manages internal communications and coordinates events

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience    
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Supervisor/Management/Leadership Experience: 4+ years



Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree
