The Opportunity:

As a Strategic Pricing Senior Manager, you will be crucial in developing and executing innovative pricing strategies for new business opportunities within the US Federal Government space. Collaborating closely with capture, technical, operations, and other functional teams, you will align pricing strategies with customer requirements and competitive market dynamics. Your leadership will guide the financial and pricing decision-making process, helping to develop and validate robust business models and strategies across various markets and contract structures.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead the pricing team and manage the full pricing lifecycle for mid to large-scale proposals (>$250M).
  • Oversee strategy execution and implementation, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and market conditions.
  • Pricing Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that differentiate our proposals and improve evaluations.
  • Perform new business opportunity qualification, customer validation, and competitive analysis to refine pricing strategies.
  • Lead cost strategies, including cost/price modeling and price-to-win analysis.
  • Lead the development of business cases and conduct risk/opportunity analysis.
  • Analyze solicitations and direct the creation and approval of price proposal outlines and compliance requirements.
  • Team and Proposal Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant, and competitive price proposal submissions.
  • Work with solution teams to integrate pricing strategies, value propositions, trade-off analysis, and tactical implementation throughout the proposal process.
  • Lead the development of cost/price volumes and associated proposal deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in the US Federal Government space, with a proven track record in competitive pricing strategy and price volume development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Expertise in pricing strategy principles, financial management concepts, and proposal price development.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and financial acumen skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, interfacing with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Local candidate to Reston, VA is required for on-site proposal support as needed.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
