Team Overview: Lending Analytics informs and optimizes lending business decisions by scientifically transforming data into insight. The team is composed of a diverse group of individuals with various academic and professional backgrounds applying business intelligence, automation, quantitative modeling, statistics, finance, and mathematical optimization to complex business problems. Key responsibilities include quantifying, forecasting and managing the credit risk of Navy Federal's lending portfolios and maintaining a suite of predictive models that establish our allowance reserve for loan losses.
The Data and Project Management Support vertical within Lending Analytics supports cross- collaboration, communication, data, and project management leading practices across the broader Lending Analytics team.
Role of Summer Associate:
The Summer Associate would support the Data & Project Management Support vertical within Lending Analytics. Current data stewards are looped into UAT for data migrations and ongoing projects. The Summer Associate would support and/or lead UAT & Data Steward initiatives to support the broader understanding of data for the entire Lending Analytics team.
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2025 and ending in August 2025. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.
