Job Description

The Process Improvement and Automated Systems team plays a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Savings and Membership Department. Our team strives to optimize processes 

through the application of innovative automated solutions and adherence to industry-leading software development practices. 

With a strong commitment to collaboration, we work closely with departmental stakeholders and foster partnerships across various teams across the enterprise. By aligning our efforts, we ensure that we can effectively address the diverse needs of our valued members.

The Summer Associate will collaborate with either a junior or senior developer to construct an innovative automated solution designed for a specific Division within the Savings and Membership Department. In addition to this pivotal partnership, the Summer Associate will also have the opportunity to engage in enriching experiences such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and various networking events.

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2025 and ending in August 2025. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related degree
  • Knowledge of application development including determining, developing, testing, and implementing
  • Familiarity with designing, coding, and debugging applications
  • Planning and time management skills
  • Skill analyzing and organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions
  • Skill applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues
  • Skill troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
