Job Description

Zachary Piper is seeking a SECRET CLEARED Telecommunications Technician to support the Army National Guard with their Voice Infrastructure Systems. This individual must have a background with helpdesk and fiber/copper installation with cable plant infrastructures. This position will be ONSITE in Arlington, VA working an 8-hour window in between 6am-6pm window.

Responsibilities of Telecom Technician:

•      Provide support for wireless devices, landline telephony, telecom switches and voicemail programming

•      Monitor, review, recommend, test, and implement new software revision/feature sets/patch evaluation, and system refresh

•      Troubleshoot voice related solutions/incidents/system outages

•      Ensure operation & maintenance service is followed with service level agreements

Qualifications of Telecom Technician:

•      2+ years of experience as telecommunications technician

•      Experience troubleshooting VoIP phone systems (Cisco/Avaya)

•      An Associated Degree in IT or relevant field

•      Active IAT Level II Certification (Security+, Network+, Cybersecurity+, & etc.

•      Possess Active Secret clearance

Compensation of Telecom Technician:

•      Salary Range: 60,000-68,000 with Parking Allowance ($300/monthly)
