Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Technician for a long-term assignment supporting a military program in Arlington, VA. This position is fully on site, M-F, 8 hours a day.

*SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED*

Responsibilities of the Telecommunications Technician:

•       Support Avaya/Cisco UC VOIP and telephony

•       Implement and troubleshoot voice solutions/incidents/outages

•       Monitor, test, implement revisions/patches/system refreshes

•       Operational maintenance for telecommunications and wireless devices

•       Fiber and copper cable management

Requirements for the Telecommunications Technician:

•       ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

•       2+ years of experience in telecommunications

•       Avaya or Cisco UC phone system experience

•       Fiber and copper installation/support experience (termination, testing, installing)

•       Active Security+ or similar IAT II certification

Compensation for the Telecommunications Technician:

•       Annual Salary: $75,000-$80,000 *depending on experience
