Test Engineer for the MAST project supporting the Navy customer and working on-site in the CACI Fairborn office.
Responsibilities:Creates, develops, maintains, and executes manual and automated test standards for the testing of information technology products, equipment, or systems.
Tests software releases during the product development.
Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems, and specialized environments.
Writes or assists in the development of test plans and test procedures. Establishes test processes and requirements documents. Reports test results and enters problems and issues into the database.
Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Develops test environment using test automation tools and agile methods. Establishes dashboard for easy accessibility to execution status.
Establishes dashboard for easy accessibility to execution status. Identifies risks and provides mitigation strategies and options. Participates in agile project & task planning and execution. Collaborates with product management and technical writers to ensure manuals are in synch with the software to ensure that quality is 'built in' from the ground up.
May work independently on small projects or assists more senior engineers. May assist with the analyses to develop testing design options or recommendations and may assists in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications on low level projects.
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Having EP-3 experience is a must
