Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an active TS/SCI Software Engineer to join a government agency located in San Diego, CA through Hybrid work. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing applications and modernizing the NSG consolidated Library software baseline from data center-based content management to cloud-based data services. 

Responsibilities of the Software Engineer include: 

• Develop systems and applications using Java and C++ 
• Design, code, and test applications using a variety of tools and concepts  
• Effectively communicate with Technical Leads and Managers  
• Transfer data from on-prem to the cloud  
• Modernize and enhance legacy code with C++ and Java  

Qualifications for the Software Engineer include: 

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering and design  
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer related field (Can substitute for additional years of experience) 
• Extensive experience with Jave and C++ 
• Knowledge of cloud platforms in AWS or Azure 
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes or Docker  
• Must have an active Top Secret and/or Top Secret/SCI clearance (With the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed)  

Compensation for the Software Engineer include: 

Salary Range: $130,000 - $200,000 **depending on experience**
