The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Vice President, Expertise Capture Management to lead the Expertise Capture Team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing CACI's strategic markets with differentiated expertise. As the VP, Expertise Capture, you will assign and direct a team of strategic Capture Managers across specific pursuits to capture new and recompete business. This business will have the potential revenue of over $100M contracts in Mission and Engineering Services, Enterprise IT, and Digital Solutions markets across Federal Civilian, DoD, and Intelligence Community (IC) customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop overall capture strategy, internal and external teaming, business plans and marketing.

  • Lead development of Customer profiles, including Customer needs, issues, goals, and biases.

  • Set and evaluate staff performance objectives and maintain utilization rates within specified ranges for the capture team.

  • Partner with the Technology Line of Business (LoB) Leads, Business Development Executive (BDE), and senior executive staff to set business strategy, select strategic pursuits, allocate and manage B&P, and monitor progress toward achieving overall growth targets for the assigned markets.

  • Facilitate collaborative engagement among Business Development Managers (BDM) and the Capture Managers (CM) to develop and execute Technology Win Strategies and Capture Plans across the portfolio of opportunities assigned to the Expertise Capture Team.

  • Ensure Capture Managers design, maintain, and execute formal capture plans and associated B&P budgets in accordance with CACI business development standards and policies. Monitor progress against capture plan objectives, timelines, and spending.

  • Participate in all pursuit reviews including Win Strategy, Price Strategy, Capture Readiness, Solution Readiness, Proposal Readiness, Milestone Reviews, Green teams, Pink teams, Red teams, Monthly New Business Reviews, and others as required.

  • Monitor and aggregate B&P usage across the Sector and provide quarterly re-forecasts to synchronize with the plan-forecast-funded-actuals cycles established for the LOBs.

  • Maintain and strengthen initiatives to improve capture performance, including Capture Readiness Reviews (CRR), Strategic Capture Reviews (SCR), and Capture Plan Peer Reviews (CPPR), among others.

  • Maintain administrative functions such as Weekly Activity Reports (WAR), Stoplights for Monthly Operations Reviews (MOR), and similar items.

  • Support individual Captures and Proposals on select high value pursuits, as appropriate.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing programs or organizations at large, federal integrators.

  • Successfully leading capture efforts on large, $100M+ pursuits with Federal Civilian, DoD and/or IC customers.

  • In-depth understanding of the federal acquisition process, including FAR/DFAR regulations, and various contract types (e.g., IDIQ, GWAC, BPA, FFP, T&M).

  • Knowledge of and strong contacts within the Mission and Engineering Services, Enterprise IT, and Digital Solutions markets across the Federal Civilian, DoD, and Intelligence Community (IC).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of capture managers. Demonstrated year over year portfolio growth in revenue, EBIT, and margin.

  • Proven ability to develop and sustain a healthy new business pipeline of technology pursuits with a healthy capture rate.

  • Proven ability to win new business.

  • Experience managing complex strategic programs.

  • Experience in developing and delivering executive-level briefings and presentations.

  • Proven ability to win recompetes and deliver on contract growth to sustain the current portfolio.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic plan for the technology market.

  • Customer focus and ability to build an effective team.

  • Demonstrate initiative, innovation, and a results-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and be a leader of distinction as evidenced by past performance.

  • Ability to travel frequently.

    Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $181,100 - $425,500
