General Summary:

Qualcomm is looking for an experienced Compute Business Go To Market (GTM) lead for the Snapdragon Compute Business Unit to help drive the global strategy and adoption of Snapdragon X Series Platforms with global partners – including Consumer, Commercial and Enterprise partners.

Reporting to the VP of the Compute business as the Global GTM strategy lead, you will be responsible for planning, developing and executing the GTM strategy in partnership with the channel sales and marketing teams and identify new opportunities, creative growth policies / business structure and overall GTM strategy to drive revenue and growth across all retail channel and global partners.

The role involves partnering closely with product, OEM, marketing, sales, and channel teams to drive overall GTM strategy across all internal stakeholders. In addition to internal stakeholders, the role requires deep engagement with OEMs sales teams, retail & commercial partners and Microsoft.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the consumer & commercial Global and Regional assortment plan across Compute offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales to build channel account plans with top retail partners, track progress, identify and address gaps to land a successful portfolio of devices in the market.
  • Collaborate with sales to build Enterprise GTM and Commercial channel account plans, track progress, identify and address gaps to land a successful portfolio of devices in the market.
  • Own and drive channel analytics for the Compute segment feeding high-value insights into product strategy, leadership meetings as well as customer discussions.
  • Building pipeline, reviewing pipeline, and forecasting as well as providing additional required support in assisting channel teams.
  • The role also includes participating in ad hoc projects that are focused on the strategic growth of the business by identifying key insights from data, competitive environment, industry trends, and operating metrics.
  • The role also involves managing relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and sales sharing best practices, and being the voice from channel sales teams.
  • Responsible for managing relationships with key partners.

Requirements:

Deep expertise and understanding of the Consumer, Commercial & Enterprise Sales and motion for PC OEMs.  Intimate knowledge of the PC partners (retailers, commercial partners) customer engagement model, bidding, timelines and decision points to help align, intercept and influence decisions to assort and sell through a winning Snapdragon portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or related field. Masters preferred.
  • 15+ years of Product Management/Strategy, Channel/GTM Strategy in the tech sector or related work experience.
  • 6+ years of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, MBA or a related field of study
  • 20+ years of PC industry experience – deep understanding of PC industry, silicon players, OEMs and Channel partners.
  • 10+ years of experience in large matrixed organization.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$272,100.00 - $408,100.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
