Job Description:

CACI is seeking a motivated Subject Matter Expert Level Data Architect to augment the CACI Program Management Office (PMO) that is entrusted by the U.S. Government to provide operations and maintenance, and development of custom financial applications. As part of CACI’s Intel Application Services, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. You will participate in the process to identify opportunities to modernize the budgetary system cloud-based database instances, support zero trust initiatives, and assist the government in meeting data governance requirements. You’ll get to work with industry-leading commercial off-the-shelf products to meet these requirements. You will actively participate in associated Agile and Engineering activities applying your expertise and experience to deliver value against requirements, ensuring they are well defined and actionable and produce meaningful outcomes. Responsibilities:

  • Understand and support the mission, goals, and objectives of the task order;

  • Work with program personnel to develop and document the current data architectures and data workflows;

  • Evaluate and document the program’s Zero Trust maturity level based on government-provided criteria for data and develop and present briefing to government stakeholders;

  • Support the government’s requirement to operate within the guidelines of an evolving data management plan and develop and present briefings to detail adherence and strategies to close gaps;

  • Leverage COTS product to identify database and data inefficiencies and develop strategies and briefs to mitigate them;

  • Support research and development efforts of COTS products relating to data governance, data quality, and visualization dashboards and develop briefings to stakeholders to convey findings and mitigation strategies;

  • Support COTS vendor product briefings and assist with product evaluations and assessments;

  • Liaison with the government Chief Data Office (CDO) to align program requirements with Chief Information Office compliance mandates and work with IC CFO leadership to document and brief status and strategies;

  • Deliver products in coordination with the agile project delivery teams and participate in briefings with program and government stakeholders as required;

  • Develop white papers, studies, and analysis tools relating to program data strategies for internal and external use based on market research and emerging requirements;

  • Support the development of technical solutions and architectures, data workflows, plans, work schedules, and success criteria.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience developing Database Architectures and solutions;

  • Working knowledge of Zero Trust initiatives and requirements and mitigating strategies;

  • Working knowledge of data governance and data quality implementations;

  • Working knowledge of Cloud-based relational database management systems;

  • Ability to creatively collaborate with other program personnel to ensure unified and well-executed goals;

  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience deploying and supporting the following technologies:

  • Oracle AWS RDS systems

  • Oracle Identity Management

  • Data Governance and Quality platforms Composure and ability to lead with confidence and calmness when faced with competing for high-priority projects and difficult decisions and when delivering presentations;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools; BA/BS Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science). Desired 

    • Experience working within an agile sprint team environment using Jira and Confluence;
