  • Supporting mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application.
  • Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with front end and backend technologies keeping security in mind.
  • Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
  • Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
  • Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
  • Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front end and back end technologies.
  • Developing  interactive web portals and automated self-healing solutions to make the platform more resilient based on root cause analysis. The role requires good development skills, problem solving, operations skills as well automation skills to get deeper into the issues and improve SRE SLI’s.
  • Supporting the Global Citrix Virtual Desktop environments consisting of ~100K users across various Business Units in India, US, Mexico and Canada  in the “Follow the sun” model.
  • Performing  Windows 11 and Windows Server OS Administration.
  • Web development skills : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, GitLab, ReactJS, Nodejs
  • Automate repetitive tasks (toil management), automated health checks, pro-active resolution of issues, self-healing environments using scripting tools.
  • Reduction of incidents through proactive resolution of issues and focus on dependency services.
  • Bringing in a culture of innovation and thought process to differentiate and work towards excellent employee experience via innovation.
  • Working in a multicultural, diverse & dynamic environment.
  • Building a network with peers to move the Digital workplace forward as a team.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience in full stack technologies.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development.
  • Experience in Infrastructure teams and  development projects.
  • Experience in developing and supporting web portals,
  • Experience in automating infrastructure builds using codes and developing autoheal solutions.
  • Knowledge on Server, Storage, Network, Security and Firewall technologies to have the ability to design solutions for any kind of requirement.
  • Excellent knowledge on VDI Infrastructure including planning, sizing and managing large scale infrastructure needs for the organization.
  • Experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Planning & Engineering, Operations and Infrastructure Automations
  • Experience in PowerShell, Python, SQL, Elasticsearch, Grafana and automated alerting
  • Experience in Citrix / Nutanix / Microsoft / Azure..

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Masters degree.
  • Experience with a high-performance, high-availability environment.
  • Strong analytical, debugging skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand app server implications during the delivery stage.
  • Experience in Desktop Application Development 
  • Teamwork, Problem-solving, good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand the business priorities and come up with initiatives that can improve productivity of the business.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks assigned and delivery on time.
  • Experience working with the global teams.
  • Good understanding about planning, communication, motivation, delegation, problem solving, interpersonal skills, decision making and time management
  • Working in a multicultural, diverse & dynamic environment.
  • Building a network with peers to move the Digital workplace forward as a team.
