Job Summary
The Equity Options Sales Trader will cover UK and European based clients who trade in the US listed equity and ETF options space. They should have existing relationships in one or both of those regions. Under limited direction, with a high level of autonomy, uses knowledge and skills to provide portfolio management, trading ideas and high touch coverage to institutional customers. Coordinates and communicates with the Equity Research Analysts and Institutional Salespersons to facilitate information and ideas to clients.

Advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of institutional equity sales %26amp sales trading.
Financial markets, products, and electronic networks.

UK/European Regulations, particularly as pertaining to derivatives
Skill in
High level customer service.
Marketing skills and sales ability.
Using technical/professional knowledge, interpersonal and sales skills to obtain customers%26rsquo commitment to ideas, services, or products.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications and proficiency with Bloomberg, Reuters and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to
Manage a range of clients such as pension funds, hedge funds and asset managers in the UK, operating in a complex, cross-border environment.
Navigate market-specific strategies with a high level of familiarity with international indices, as well as understanding client needs in multiple regions.
Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Attend to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation.
Use technical/professional knowledge, interpersonal and sales skills to obtain customers%26rsquo commitment to ideas, services, or products.

Education/Previous Experience
Bachelor%26rsquos Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of trading experience

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
