Reports To: Director of Manufacturing

Location: Houston, Texas

Amount of Travel Required: None.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.                               

Positions Supervised: None.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Applications Analyst position will be responsible for administering, monitoring and maintenance of ERP system. They will work alongside the Business Process Improvement Manager to determine, implement, train and upkeep of best practices and procedures for the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word 'may.')

  • Responsible for data integrity of ERP system.
  • Manage inputs and outputs of item master data.
  • Develop processes and procedures to control data flow in conjunction with Business Process Improvement Manager.
  • Aid in bridging gaps between cross functional departments and assure effective communication.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successfully passes background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • In-person, predictable attendance
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Proficiency in English required, bilingual in Spanish a plus.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • High School Diploma
  • 7 years of experience  in a Manufacturing setting required.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to act with a high degree of integrity and ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Possess strong analytical thinking skills, including creative and critical thinking and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of internal control processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The Applications Analyst works primarily indoors and will be sitting prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Applications Analyst may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, the Applications Analyst must be able to lift 25lbs.

Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
